Norris hopes to win the Qatar Grand Prix. The McLaren driver noted that he would like to win the upcoming race, but he is well aware that it will be very difficult to get ahead of George Russell and Max Verstappen.
I hope we will be faster than them [Russell and Verstappen] in the race. But I don`t expect anything special. I think our sprint pace, which we showed in the clear air, made us look better than we really are.
And I don`t really think that McLaren has been the fastest team so far this weekend. I think that team was Mercedes - so I`m expecting a very tough fight in the race and I`m interested in what we can do.
I would like to force a battle on the guys in front, and of course, in the end, break forward myself. Our goal is to try to win the race. But these two, I believe, will seriously complicate my life, " Norris said.
