The midfielder Javier Pastore rejected speculation that Lionel Messi shall determine the Argentinian national team on the basis of the friendships with players.
Some of the Argentine newspapers wrote that for the last couple of matches via contact to 1x2 picks in the national team there were not those players who were in the best shape and actually Messi`s best friends.
Before the newspaper, Javier Pastore announced that Leo Messi does not have any influence on the mentor Jorge Sampaoli.
`At the national team, there are football players who were selected by the coach. He makes his own decisions. He does not select friends of Messi but the best footballers of Argentina. We hope that these rumors will disappear as soon as possible.`, said also Javier Pastore, quoted by the newspaper.
