Huddersfield took a vital point

Huddersfield took a very important point in the battle for salvation after making 1:1 with Brighton as a guest. The hosts led in the 29th minute when a shot of Solley March met the beam, then ricocheted in the back of Jonas Loschell and entered his door. The attack was recorded as the Dane`s own. Just three minutes later, Steve Mounier equalized after taking advantage of a shrewd mistake by Shane Duffy, who returned the ball awkwardly back.

In the 74th minute Brighton stayed with a man less. Davy Proefer received a direct red card because of a delayed entry into Hog`s feet. Though they were in a numerically lowered lineup, it was the hosts who could reach the victory at the end when Jose Ischierdo got his eye on Losell, but Huddersfield`s guard saved. Brighton is 13th, seven points over the danger zone, while Huddersfield is 16th, with the Terriers four points more than Southampton.
