The Spanish sports authorities want Villar to resign

The Spanish sports authorities want Angel Maria Villar to withdraw from his position at the Spanish Football Federation.
The President of the football headquarters in Spain was suspended for a period of one year, after he, his son and other executives were arrested on suspicion of corruption in July.
Villar resigned as the Vice President of FIFA and UEFA, but is still the President of the Spanish Football Federation. He held the post from 1988 year.
