The team of Stuttgart, who dropped out of the Bundesliga, appointed Los Luhukay for a coach and split with the Sports director Robin Dutt, was announced by the German club.
The 51-year-old Dutt was leaving by a mutual consent after Stuttgart was relegated from the top flight for the first time in the last 41 years.
The Dutchman Jos Luhukay, who brought up the Hertha BSC Berlin, Borussia Moenchengladbach, and Fortuna Dusseldorf to promotion from the second Bundesliga, has signed a contract for two years.
Luhukay has been in charge of Hertha Berlin since May 2012 to February 2015. He will inherit the helm of Stuttgart, Jurgen Kramni, who was dismissed from his position after the last round of the Bundesliga.
