The Brazilian midfielder Fred was banned for one year for using doping.
The 22-year-old midfielder tested positive for forbidden diuretic hydrochlorothiazide during the Copa America tournament in Chile. He went on to play for the club Shakhtar Donetsk team, including 10 games by online soccer predictions in the Champions League, while the expected punishment.
The football Confederation of the countries of South America (CONMEBOL) announced that the punishment goes into effect retroactively from 26 June 2015 until 26 June 2016. For this period, Fred will not be able to play only in matches under the auspices of CONMEBOL.
The Confederation will forward the case to FIFA, which will determine the punishment of the soccer player for other fights.
