Natalia Valeeva has been eliminated from the women`s individual competition on Sunday morning, she gave the chance to the quest to win a third gold medal at Baku 2015 European Games.
The placed number 3 was overcame of the placed as number 30 Yuliya Lobzhenidze from Georgia, with 6-2 in the opening match of the day at Tofiq Bahramov Stadium.
Valeeva said:"I was lacking decisiveness, I was a bit low in tone.
These technical mistakes have been recurrent in this competition. I was unstable."
The 45 years old women won the mixed team event with Mauro Nespoli and the women`s team title with Guendalina Sartori and Elena Tonetta.
She admitted that her success was unexpected.
"I`m very happy with the results according online soccer predictions so far because technically I wasn`t ready. It is a work in progress.I was surprised by the medals. I came to the competition just to prepare for the Olympic Games.For our national committee, the medals are welcome.
For me, this competition has been a heavy effort because my focus is to work on my technique to be ready for the competition at the world championships in Copenhagen, which seems to be very difficult.
